i hope my friends dont find this page
mainly because i never told them about my characters and im worried that they would think of me less
i dont know why they would but it also seems like something they would do
if they find it and they make fun of me, im cutting ties with them
There are more complex options, but I would claim that, 'if' you are actually worried what your friends would think if 'they' found out, the best course of action would be to tell them.
I "think less" of my best friend for liking 'Star Wars'. But they are still my best friend, regardless. Actual friendships are not that fragile. ;)
Plus: From my perspective, your current art style isn't "great", but it's pretty smooth, all thing considered. I'd be more embarrassed writing "Goobertown" into my profile, if I were you. ;p
yeah. over today, I starting thinking “if they hate me for doing what i do, then they can piss off”
i kind of monitored their behavior (not in a weird way) and found out that i would be more embarrassed than offended. I subtly mentioned and they said they don’t care what I do so I think i was just in my own head thinking they would make me a laughing stock.

they made fun of my art and what i do on my free time. friends being friends, it could be in a joking manner but it’s very hard to tell the difference (for me at least). like i mentioned in another comment Yatsufusa made, im probably just gonna be more embarrassed than anything.
some art I made (including the ones from 2021) is laughable, hell, even i laugh at it. i mentioned it to them and they don’t care what i do. so if they find it, it would probably be constructive criticism or they’d support me so i was probably just very worried for no reason.

yeah my friends don’t care. if you are planning to make a comment… just don’t because i realized how over my head i was. if one of my friends do shit talk me, then fuck them.

@WitheredFoxy458 You probably worded it in an unfortunate fashion, but: "it could be in a joking manner" stood out to me...
If you cannot tell if your friends mean something in jest, it's either because they said it in rather mean spirits 'or' because you are bad at reading people. (Or both...) Consider talking to your parents about it to resolve that mystery.
As for 'making fun of it'... As I said "From my perspective, your current art style isn't "great", but it's pretty smooth, all thing considered." At the moment, your skill is not at a point where you could "show off" with your work. If your friends are actually your friends, they will likely tell you something along the same lines as I did. Because just telling you "That looks great." does not get anybody anywhere.
To improve at your current stage, I recommend practicing 'drawing simple shapes' with pencil on paper and drawing in the lighting and shade. A unmarked box and sphere would do as models.
yeah, ill start doing that. i’ve also heard other people say i should practice drawing shapes.
